This class covers the exploratory phase of a career transition. It focuses on optimizing communications for the tech industry, including emails, introductory phone calls, LinkedIn profiles, and resumes, as well as overcoming barriers with employers who may not understand your experience and background. Taught using a case study, the class will detail common missteps one might make when pivoting into tech and how to best position yourself for success.

This class demystifies the interview process. It provides insight into different interview stages, how to wind up in a position to choose from attractive alternatives, and how to negotiate your compensation. Using a case study, we’ll share best practices on how to refine your elevator pitch, translate your story, and communicate a strong executive presence.
