Veteran Career Transition Class 1
This class covers the early transition process. It focuses on how to advocate for yourself with civilian employers who may not understand your experience, how to recover when things go wrong in an informational interview, general business etiquette, and how to find and go after roles that interest you (even when they aren’t publicly posted).
Veteran Career Transition Class 2
This class demystifies the interview process. It focuses on the types of interviews and stages to expect between a first “coffee chat” and an offer, common strategic communications pitfalls (e.g. elevator pitch, translating your story, executive presence), how to wind up in a position to choose from attractive alternatives (versus taking the first/only offer on the table), and how to negotiate your compensation.
